Every photographer does things a little differently so it’s good that you read on to get to know my style, approach, and the overall experience when booking with me.

Firstly, I am a pretty laid back individual, and I think I use that to my advantage on wedding days. Weddings are nuts. Planning a wedding is an insane thing to do to yourself. I’m here to be that guiding voice that says “Its okay! Everything is great! We’re gonna make it!”

My photography approach follows a similar mindset. I like to float around and capture people as they are. I like engaging with guests, immersing myself into the day, and making sure that I’m delivering you a gallery that actually feels like how your wedding day felt. For this reason, there’s no limit on the amount of photo’s I deliver - I simply deliver as many as I feel are needed to showcase the day (don’t worry, it’ll be plenty!). I truly love doing this and hope to capture humans being humans until I die.

How long have you been a photographer?

A long time.

What do we wear if we do an engagement shoot?

I have a style guide I can send your way with some helpful tips! Generally speaking, I always suggest that you wear whatever you feel cool in. Look like you!

How much editing is included?

All of the photo’s you receive will be edited to my style and minimal touch ups (pimple removal) will be done. I don’t alter how people look with photoshop or anything like that.

Can we get the RAW files?

I do not deliver RAW files.

What if it’s raining on our wedding day?

Embrace it! I always encourage couples to let the day happen as it will. If its a downpour, lets do some cool rain shots and get a little gross! Or, lets get some umbrellas or newspapers and try to stay as dry as possible! Alternatively, we can always find a last minute indoor photo location if needed.

Where should we do our shoot?

I love when people choose locations that have meaning to them, even if they aren’t the most “picturesque” spots. That being said, keeping it simple for locations also goes a long way and if you’re stuck - i’ll happily recommend some spots!

For sure! I’m always happy to offer any advice I can when it comes to the timeline of the day.

When do we get our photo’s?

For engagement shoots, the turnaround time is generally 2-3 weeks and for weddings it’s 5-8 weeks.

HOURS.

Hours is the most common question I get asked. “How many hours do we need? What if we miss this? What happens if we need more on the day of?”. All great questions. I think it’s vital that you don’t have your photographer show up too early. Generally speaking, 1 hour of prep is more than enough and I’ll still be sharp by the time the dancing starts. If i’m shooting prep for 4 hours? Maybe not so much - ha! If on your wedding day things are running late (as they often do) and you need more hours, we’ll simply have a verbal agreement as to how many additional hours you need, and that’s it that’s all! Do. Not. Worry. Do not worry about things being missed, don’t even think about any of that stuff. It goes back to just truly shutting your brain off and enjoying your day. You are going to be so stoked on what you receive!

The Process

If you are ready to book, just send me an email saying so! I require a 30% non-refundable retainer fee and a signed contract to hold your date. Once that’s all settled, we’re good to go
