Lydia & Mike

We had the honor of shooting Lydia & Mike's wedding a few weeks ago at Balls Falls. This was one of the happiest, most fun weddings we've ever been apart of! This wedding also featured a tradition I had never seen before. Mike's entire side of the family marched (yes, marched) from his house to Lydia's house where they then danced in the street and bartered for Lydia with toy animals and other such things. Very, very fun!

From the old chapel ceremony to the barn reception, everything about this day was perfect and we wish Lydia and Mike an amazing life together, which we know they will have!

We took advantage of yesterdays sunny saturday to shoot some of Hello Stella's floral crowns. Very big thanks to Maggie & Jake for coming out and shooting and also a very big thanks to one-armed Lindsay for helping out! Here are a few of our favourite along with a few outtakes.

Holy geez. I might just be the worst blogger of all time! I'm going to make it a goal to really keep up with this thing, however, please check out our facebook/instagram as we're always posting there. 

This year is going to be absolutely insane and we cannot wait for it. From weddings to engagements to products to portraits, we are easily in for our busiest year to date. We'd really like to thank everyone for being so supportive and radical these past few years. We wouldn't be here without you!

Now that the weather has finally warmed up, we have more opportunities to do some just-for-us shoots. Sarah Brown is one of our favourite go-to people to shoot, here are a few of her from this past week!

Sonja + James

We had the pleasure of shooting Sonja and James' wedding a few weeks ago and had an absolute blast doing so. This wedding was the perfect blend of beautiful, crazy, and fun! Set at the gorgeous Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, it provided the perfect backdrop for such a good looking couple and wedding party. These guys were up for pretty much anything and were a blast to shoot, we hope you enjoy just a few of our favourite shots from the day!

Welcome to our new site!

Hello everyone, 

Our new site is here, and we hope you love it! We are the kinds of people who change up our furniture layout every few weeks, so having that kind of trait means that we change up our website quite often as well. We are really happy with this one, however, and hope that it will stick around for the long haul! 

As you can see, we are now running everything under the nautical studios website. Promises we keep will soon cease to exist. This is to make everything a bit more simple and straight-forward. No more hopping from one site to the other!

While we've got you here, we may as well announce that we'll soon be moving to a new studio space! It's located in the same glorious building that we're in right now, its just in a different area. 

We absolutely love the old floors, brick walls, old windows, old beams, old everything! We are suckers for old stuff, which is why when we saw this space was becoming available, we jumped on it as soon as we could.

This blog will be updated weekly to keep you up to date with what we have going on.
